Both Jayson “La Maravilla” Vélez and Wilfredo “Papín” Negrón, headliners for the second edition of Boxeo Boricua en Caguas, made their respective divisions during the weigh-in for the event organized by Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment. Mexican Juan Jaramillo, who was supposed to fight Vélez couldn’t make it due to problems with his travel visa. Now “ La Maravilla” will face Javier Ramos. To Vélez the change of fighter will not affect his performance. “ I’m well trained and I’ll do my work as always” assured the 20 year old boxer, who has been in the sport for almost a decade.
