Two world minimumweight titles were on the line on Saturday night at the Auditorio Guelaguetza in Oaxaca, Mexico. WBA minimumweight champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez (23-0, 20 KOs) of Nicaragua won a majority decision over Francisco “Chiquita” Rosas (20-6-2, 12 KOs). The fighters constantly exchanged blows for all twelve rounds, but Gonzalez had a little more than his courageous challenger and won by scores of 115-113, 116-112. The third card was 114-114.
