Two-division world champion and reigning WBO light flyweight champion Donnie Nietes (31-1-3, 17 KOs) stopped previously unknown Danai Meendaeng in round five of a non-title bout on Saturday at the Macias Sports Complex in Dumaguete City, Philippines. Meendaeng, from Thailand, was apparently making his pro debut.
In the co-feature, jr welterweight Jimrex Jaca (36-6-3, 20 KOs) scored a one-sided ten round unanimous decision over Jaypee Ignacio (8-15-2, 2 KOs) by scores of 100-91, 100-89 and 98-91.
