Former WBA welterweight champion Yuriy Nuzhnenko (29-1-1, 14 KOs) will next fight for the vacant EBU (European) welterweight title against Gianluca Branco (43-2-1, 22 KOs) after reigning beltholder Selcuk Aydin vacated the title. Representatives of the boxers have until October 22th to reach a deal. Otherwise a purse bid is slated for October 22th at EBU Headquarters in Rome, Italy.
