Olympian Sutherland dead

Irish super middleweight Darren Sutherland (4-0, 4 KOs), who won a bronze medal at the 2008, has sadly taken his own life. The 27-year-old was found hanged inside his apartment in London by manager Frank Maloney. Tragically, Maloney himself has been taken to Bromley’s Princess Royal University Hospital suffering from shock and a heart attack. Although he is being kept under observation, the 55-year-old promoter is reportedly well enough to sit up and work on his laptop.
