Australian based Nigerian welterweight Oyewale Omotoso (14-0, 2 KOs) captured the vacant OPBF title when he scored a knockout in three rounds over Hwan -Young Park (22-4, 20 KOs) of South Korea at the Knox Netball Centre, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on Friday. Referee Bruce McTavish crowned Omotoso, 24 years, at 2:33. Omotoso scored his best win in August when he stopped American Emanuel Augustus in nine rounds. Augustus had been in the ring with with sevral world rated boxer including Floyd Mayweather and holds wins over Ray Olivera and Courtney Burton. Promoter Murray Thompson.
