Bantamweight Jonathan Oquendo (16-2, 10 KOs) was impressive in stopping Felix Flores (14-10-1, 11 KOs) on Friday night at the Deauville Beach Resort in Miami, Florida. The bigger Oquendo dominated the fight from the beginning sending Flores to the canvas in rounds three and four before the referee stopped the fight due to a body punch from which Flores didn’t recover.
In the co-main event, light middleweight Jorge Melendez (9-0-1, 9 KOs) and Gerardo Cesar Prieto (6-7-1) battled ferociously. From the beginning, the fight was toe to toe with Melendez landing the harder punches, but by round four Prieto was comfortable until Melendez caught him with a brutal uppercut that sent him to the canvas ending the fight.
In the opening bout, lightweight Eric Cruz (7-2-2, 7 KOs) TKOd durable Derrick Moon (13-30-1, 3 KOs) in round six. Cruz’ skills were superior to Moon’s, and a perfect combination of a right uppercuts and then another right hand broke the spirit of Moon. Moon moved away from Cruz and told the referee no more.
Light heavyweight Dyah Davis (15-1, 7 KOs) won a controversial majority decision over Emmanuel Gonzalez (9-4). Heavyweight Henry Fuentez (9-1, 5 KOs) took a unanimous decision over Jerry Butler (8-5-1).

Light heavyweight Abdulha Dobey (2-0) TKOd Joel Lopez (0-2).
