2-time Olympian Oscar Valdez moves to 8-0, 8 KOs

Undefeated two-time Mexican Olympian, Oscar Valdez (8-0, 8 KOs) scored a quick first round TKO over Cristian Barajas (4-5-1, 2 KOs) in a scheduled six round featherweight clash on Saturday night at the Caliente Racetrack in Tijuana, BCN, Mexico. Valdez floored his opponent two times and the bout was stopped at 1:27.

WBO #11 lightweight Jose “Chon” Zepeda (17-0, 15 KOs) scored a third round KO over Emanuel “Pollo” Lopez (14-2, 3 KOs). Zepeda dropped Lopez twice in round three with body shots. Time was 2:59.

Jr middleweight Jose “Bolivita” Uzcategui (20-0, 16 KOs) belew away the usually durable Francisco “Paco” Villanueva (13-29-2, 9 KOs) in the first round.
