Manny Pacquiao has reportedly dropped his defamation lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his team after a confidential settlement was reached. Pacman filed the lawsuit in 2009 alleging that Floyd, his father Floyd Sr. and trainer Roger Mayweather, falsely accused him of using performance-enhancing drugs.
The Mayweather camp has now released a statement saying they wish to make it clear that they “never intended to claim that Manny Pacquiao has used or is using any performance-enhancing drugs” and “no one should construe any of our prior remarks as claiming that Manny Pacquiao has used performance-enhancing drugs.”
