The Manny Pacquiao-Ricky Hatton fight has been saved by promoter Bob Arum after a disagreement over the purse split put the proposed May 2 bout in jeopardy. “There was a lot of confusion about why we did 50-50 but everyone now understands why this is a good deal,” Arum told the Manchester Evening News. “This thing is going to happen. Earlier in the week it was in disarray, now everything is back in order.”
