Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios spoke to reporters during international television interviews at The Venetian Macao Resort in Macau, China, on Friday for their upcoming pay-per-view mega fight that will be televised live in the US, Saturday, Nov. 23, 9pm ET/6pm PT on HBO Pay-Per-View.

Manny Pacquiao: Brandon Rios is a very aggressive fighter. I think a fight with him is going to be a good fight and a lot of boxing in the ring and we can give a good fight to make people happy…I will take care of him in the ring.

I told Freddie relax and don’t be distracted of our focus. Don’t get affected from what they did to you. Let’s maintain our focus on the fight.

[On a possible fight with Floyd Mayweather] I’m willing to to fight, but it depends on all them if they’re willing to fight also. That’s the problem. Aside from that everything is fine. It’s up to them if they want to fight.

Freddie Roach: [Rios] really not a boxer. He’s more of a brawler. He’s kind of a banger. He likes to swing, he likes to exchange, and that’s what I love about this fight for Manny Pacquiao because when guys like to exchange Manny Pacquiao’s speed and power will take over and I see no problem. The more tapes I watch on Brandon Rios, the worse he gets.

Brandon Rios: [On Freddie Roach’s prediction of an early Pacquiao KO] I’m very happy he thinks that. That means they’ll go in the ring reckless. When he goes in the ring reckless, I’m going to catch his ass and knock his ass out. And then I’m going to look at Freddie Roach and tell him ‘What happened?’

I think they’re trying to play mind games. But they’re playing with the wrong guy. I don’t play mind games easy.

Robert Garcia: Brandon Rios is hungry to come out and upset the whole world. I know very few give him a chance but the way that he’s trained, the condition that he has and the mindset he’s got to win the fight, I think nothing can stop him and we’re going out there to upset the world…We’re ready for everything Manny Pacquiao brings.

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
