WBA/WBO#15 lightfly Paipharob Kokietgym (10-0,8 KOs) easily kept his PABA 108lb title when he scored a first round TKO over Chinese Jiang Tao (2-7-1) on Friday at Klong Luang Huawang in Chumporn, Thailand. This was not a good fight as the Chinese fighter rapidly gave up at 2:18 of the opening round after he was one-sided attacked by a hot Thai prospect who is also the WBO Asia-Pacific 108lb title holder.
In the co-feature, former WBA title challenger Nethra Sasiprapa (22-1,10 KOs) stopped PABA#13 lightly Ricky Manufoe (reportedly 16-8-4) to capture the PABA interim 108lb title. Nethra mostly controlled the show and impressively proved his good performance to challenge the world title again. After attacking the Indonesian with his vicious combinations in the first three rounds, he successfully destroyed his foe with a right bodyshot and impressively scored a KO at the middle of round four.
Also, PABA#10 fly Fonluang Sor Tanapinyo (12-1-1,4 KOs) scored a third round TKO over Chinese Wan Jun Hui. And Kritkanok Islandmuaythai outpointed Petchnammoon Kwanjaisrikord of Lao in a six round close-affair bout. This event was promoted by Kokiet Group Promotion.
