Rolando Marcos Hermoso has been appointed as the new president of the Professional Boxing Commission of Panama (Comibox) after the head of the Panamanian Institute of Sports Javier Tejeira dismissed Alberto Guerra. Hermoso is a member and vice president of the WBO. Edwin Zuniga will serve as vice president, while Oliver Gomez who is a few months away from the WBA was chosen as a member. The secretary will be Harmodio Cedeño, treasurer Carlos Berrocal, and Rogelio Perez will serve as the legal counsel.
