In a nationally televised promotion Patomsuk Pathompothong (19-1-1) will be back in action against Dondon Sultan (18-18-3) over twelve rounds with the WBC Asia light middleweight title up for grabs on Friday at the Bantamool school, Janthanuri, Thailand. Pathompothong captured the WBC regional title by outpointing highly regarded Australian Heath Ellis in 2011. Filipino Sultan has been in the ring with world rated opponents including Adrian Stone, Robert Medley, Shannan Taylor and Solomon Egberime. Also in action will be IBF #9 Fahsai Sakkreerin (37-3) who will clash with Filipino lightweight champion Edgar Gabejan (23-27-5) for the vacant WBC Asia 135 pound championship.
