WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik and two-division world champion Paul “The Punisher” Williams, along with their respective promoters, Todd duBoef and Dan Goossen, will host a news conference on Tuesday officially announcing their world middleweight title fight. Pavlik-Williams will take place December 5 at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall, and will be broadcast live on HBO. Pavlik (35-1, 31 KOs), from Youngstown, Ohio, who has been middleweight champion for nearly two years, will be making his third title defense. Williams (37-1, 27 KOs), from Augusta, Georgia, has twice held the WBO welterweight crown and is currently the WBO interim junior middleweight titlist.
