It’s possible that WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik’s December 5 defense against Paul Williams will be delayed again. According to Pavlik’s hometown newspaper, the Youngstown Vindicator, Pavlik is still having problems with his left hand, which he twice had surgery on this year. The bout was originally slated for October 3, then pushed back to December 5. January 23 was mentioned as a possible new date. No official announcement at this time.
