Prospects Mike “The Artist” Pérez (15-1-1, 9 KOs) and Jeffrey Fontánez (7-0, 6 KOs) confessed to be ready and prepared for their respective matches this coming Saturday, June 30th on “Boxeo Boricua in Caguas: Fast & Strong” at the Roger Mendoza Coliseum in Caguas. “The Artist” Pérez seeks again the winning path after suffering his first loss as a professional in January to Omar Figueroa. The Puerto Rican based in New Jersey will face hard puncher Eric Cruz (16-9-3, 16 KOs) in a 10 round bout in the lightweight division. “I feel good and motivated for this fight. We worked hard and I am ready to go big and show what I have. I am fully recovered from the defeat and it is time to seek new opportunities,” stated Mike Pérez.
While in the co-feature attraction, undefeated top prospect Jeffrey Fontánez will headline a 6 round fight in the super featherweight division against experienced Pedro Hernández (6-5-1, 2 KOs).” I am very happy with this great opportunity that my company gives me to fight again in my home and be the co-feature in this event. Also crowd pleasing Edgardo “Sasso” Lopez will face veteran Jesse Padilla in the lightweight division, while undefeated prospect Eddie Gómez (8-0, 6 KOs) will face Joseph De Los Santos (11-8-3, 4 KOs) in an 8 round clash. Also in action are Samuel Figueroa vs Orlando Falcón and Kevin Nieves, who will make his professional debut.
