It has been reported that the current WBA interim super lightweight world champion Johan Perez (15-1, 12 KOs) will defend his crown against Pablo Cesar Cano (24-1-1, 19 KOs) on July 21 in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico on an event organized by Pepe Gomez and Golden Boy Promotions. Initially Perez was expected to face Manuel Perez.
