Perez-Cruz collide Saturday

It promises to be a hot summer in Puerto Rico this year, and things will start heating up at the Coliseo Roger Mendoza in Caguas on Saturday when lightweights Michael “The Artist” Perez (15-1-1, 9 KOs) and Eric Cruz (16-9-3, 13 KOs) collide on TeleFutura’s “Sólo Boxeo” broadcast in the main event. The co-main event will also feature an All-Puerto Rico showdown as unbeaten Jeffrey Fontanez (7-0, 6 KOs) takes on Pedro “El Gago” Hernandez (6-5-1, 2 KOs) in a four round junior welterweight matchup. Plus, undefeated standout Eddie Gomez (8-0, 6 KOs) will compete against Joseph De Los Santos (11-8-3, 4 KOs) in an eight round non-televised fight.
