In a battle of unbeaten fighters, super lightweight Eloy Perez (14-0-2, 3 KOs) won a hard-fought 10 round unanimous decision over Dannie Williams (12-1, 9 KOs) at the Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, CA. Both fighters were dropped once in the second round and Perez went down again in the third. However, Perez landed the more telling punches during the rest of the bout. All three judges scored the bout 98-91, 97-92, and 95-94. Also on the card was former Olympian middleweight Donald Orr, who survived a fifth round knockdown and a feverish rally by Danny Stanislavjevic to win a six round unanimous decision. All three judges had Orr (15-0, 6 KO’s) winning by scores of 57-56, 57-56, and 58-55. Stanislavjevic (8-17-3, 4 KO’s) worked hard but could not get the victory. (more to come.)
