Peterson-Holt set for February 22

ESPN announced today that it will televise IBF jr welterweight champion Lamont Peterson’s mandatory defense against Kendall Holt on February 22 at the Washington, D.C. Armory. It will be Peterson’s first fight in 14 months after his career was put on hold following a positive drug test last January KO’d a rematch with Amir Khan. Peterson was stripped of his WBA, but allowed to keep the IBF belt.
