ABCO #6 super feather Pharanpetch Tor Buamas (6-0, 5 KOs) impressively captured the WBC Asia 130lb interim title when he stopped ABCO #12 Eddy Comaro (24-14-4, 9 KOs) on Wednesday at Town Hall of Kaengkhor in Chaiyaphum, Thailand. After a close affair in the first three rounds, the Thai fighter landed a vicious and well-time right hook which destroyed the Indonesian for a full ten-count at 2:42 of round four.
In other action, ABCO #12 superbantam Hendry Barongsay (reportedly 12-16-3) stopped ABCO #9 Tabthong Tor Buamas (12-2, 10 KOs) to capture the vacant ABCO Continental 122lb title. This was also an exciting bout as both fighters exchanged punches most of the action and the score announcement after round eight was 77-75,77-75,78-75 for the Thai fighter. In round nine, Tabthong seemed tired, so Indonesian Barongsay speeded his assault and finally he shocked the local crowd by displaying a one-sided attack which forced referee to stop the bout at 2:44 of round nine.
Also, former IBF Female title challenger Hongfah Tor Buamas (16-5,2 KOs) won a six round unanimous decision over Nongbua Lookprai-aree (8-8-1).
