Pianeta outpoints Botha

Unbeaten heavyweight Francesco Pianeta (27-0-1, 14 KOs) outpointed bloated 43-year-old, 275lb “White Buffalo” Francois Botha (48-8-3, 29 KOs) over ten rounds on Friday night at the RWE Sporthalle in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. Scores were 99-92, 100-96, 97-93. Referee Juergen Langos scored six of the ten rounds even.

WBF/WBO female middleweight champion Christina Hammer (13-0, 7 KOs) took a one-sided ten round unanimous decision against Yahaira Hernandez (11-4, 5 KOs).

Light heavyweight Jonathan Profichet claimed the WBO Euro belt with a first round TKO over Denis Simcic. Time was 2:47.

Heavyweight Markus Tomala topped Tomas Mrazek by unanimous decision by scores of 60-54, 59-55, 59-56.
