Pierson-Ennis set for July 27

On July 27th at Resorts in Atlantic City, an intriguing super middleweight bout has been added as the televised co-feature on ESPN 2 Friday Night Fights as Richard Pierson (11-2, 8 KOs) will take on Farah Ennis (19-1, 12 KOs) in a ten round battle for the WBC Fecarbox super middleweight title. The main event will pit world ranked lightweight “Hammerin” Hank Lundy battling Raymundo Beltran. The show is promoted by CES Boxing. “I don’t know much about Ennis with the exception of his record and that he is from Philadelphia”, said Pierson “It is a great opportunity to be televised and if I do what I need to do, then the whole world will see what everyone has been talking about.
