Pope replaces Belasco in Dover

“Rockin” Ryan Belasco suffered an injured rib in training, and has been replaced by Mondre Pope in the co-main event at the Rollins Center in Dover, DE on Friday February 26. Pope, of Philadelphia, PA, steps in to face Julias Edmunds also of Philadelphia, in the six-round welterweight bout. The main event remains Mike “No Joke” Stewart taking on Brandon “The Business” Baue in an eight round welterweight bout, for Baue’s WBF belt. The promoter of the big 9-bout card is Dover Downs Hotel & Casino.

The rest of the card:

“Mighty” Mike Tiberi (11-1, 5 KOs), takes on Mike Rayner (6-14, 7 KOs) in a six round middleweight bout.

Clarence “Sonny Bono” Taylor (14-24-4, 7 KOs) faces Joshua “Berlin Bomber” Snyder (8-4-1, 3 KOs) in a six round middleweight bout.

Mike Denby (2-3-3, 2 KOs) will meet David “D-Hop” Hopkins (3-0, 1 KO) in a four round junior welterweight bout.

Anthony Caputo Smith (2-0, 1 KO) faces John Stallings (0-1) in a four round light heavyweight bout.

Bernard “Road Dog” Miller (3-1-1) will face John “Jaw Breaker” Colvin (2-8, 2 KOs) in a four round middleweight rematch.

Ronica Jeffrey (2-0) takes on Angel Gladney (6-0) in a four round super featherweight bout between female unbeatens.

Dan “Bada Bing” Biddle (2-1, 2 KOs) will meet an opponent to be determined in a four round heavyweight bout.
