In a battle of lightweight KO artists, unbeaten Breidis Prescott of Colombia (21-0, 18 KOs) will take on Sugar Ray Narh of Ghana (22-1, 19 KOs) on July 17th in Las Vegas. The bout will air on ESPN2’s “Friday Night Fights” series and be promoted by DeCubas Inc. Prescott is the more known of the two fighters as he went into England last September and knocked out the hometown hero and then-unbeaten Amir Khan in less than one round. Fireworks seem guaranteed as between them Prescott and Narh have produced 37 KOs in 44 bouts. Add to that each are extremely tall for lightweights, Prescott 5’11 and Narh 5’10. Also in a televised bout on the card will be two time Olympic gold medalist Guillermo Rigondeaux (1-0, 1 KO) against an opponent soon to be announced.
