Price annihilates Harrison in 82 seconds

In a clash of British Olympians, 6’8″ undefeated David Price (14-0, 12 KOs), a 2008 bronze medalist and reigning British and Commonwealth champion, destroyed 2000 gold medalist Audley “A-Force” Harrison (28-6, 21 KOs) in just 82 seconds on Saturday night in front of 8,000 fans at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. Price immediately launched into a brutal assault on Harrison and blasted him out of there in short order. Two devastating right hands finished Harrison. The first one froze him, the second one sent Audley crashing down and out. “We’ve got a great team and we’re going all the way to the top,” said Price after the fight.

In a highly anticipated flyweight matchup, unbeaten Kevin Satchell (9-0, 2 KO) added the British flyweight belt to his Commonwealth belt with a sixth round KO over Chris Edwards (17-15-4, 4 KOs). Satchell dropped Edwards with a body shot in round five and the bout was stopped after he put him down again in the sixth. Time was 2:17.

Cruiserweight Shane McPhilbin (8-4, 5 KOs) and Jon Lewis Dickinson (12-2, 3 KOs) labored through twelve rounds with Dickinson claiming the British cruiserweight belt by scores of 118-110, 118-110, 117-111.
