Unbeaten 6’8 heavyweight David Price (13-0, 11 KOs) says he’s expecting 2000 Olympic super heavyweight gold medalist Audley Harrison (28-5, 21 KOs) to bring it when they collide on Saturday night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. The bout will be televised in the USA exclusively on Wealth TV.
“There’s a lot on the line,” said Price. “It’s Audley’s last chance, perhaps he’s coming out to make a point. I have a feeling it’s going to be a bit of a blockbuster and we’re going to go to war and it’s going to be a case of who’s the last man standing.
“I agree that Audley is the best fighter I’ve faced so far in my career. But on paper Sam Sexton and John McDermott were supposed to be tests and they turned out not to be tests. You can’t really say until after the fight whether it’s a test or not, but I definitely agree Audley is the best fighter I’ll have faced up to this point.”
Whether Audley is a test remains to be seen, but Price was very clear about the end result. “I’ve got no intention of giving up my belts that night.”
The October 13 Price-Harrison event is available live at WealthTV.com. WealthTV is available on Verizon FiOS TV (channels 169 and 669 in HD), AT&T U-Verse TV (channels 470 and 1470 in HD), along with over 100 cable systems across the country. Click here for more information.
