Indonesian senior promoter and manager Eddy Pirih, 72, passed away today (4/16) in Surabaya because of pancreatic cancer that he has suffered since last year. Pirih was a well-known boxing promoter from Indonesia with good international relationships due to his internationally wide reputation as a shipping company businessman. His son, Eric Pirih, is now succeeding his father in boxing promotions and matchmaking. Farewell Mr. Pirih.
