Raheem headlines Big Rock Out

The Big Rock Out professional boxing series, owned and operated by Sports Fan Properties and in partnership with the Dickey Media Group, showcases some of the best professional boxers from Georgia and around the Southeast. The event will be held on Friday at the Westin Peachtree Plaza and feature up to 10 bouts with of some of the best talent in professional boxing, including former world title challenger and Erik Morales conqueror Zahir “King” Raheem (30-3) vs. Roberto Valenzuela (53-53-2 43KO) and local favorite Paul “The Truth” Delgado (23-9-1) vs Chad Greenleaf (12-15-1 5KO).

Also scheduled is a special presentation in honor of Evander Holyfield as he receives the Ring of Honor Award. The Big Rock Out started the Ring of Honor tradition as a way of recognizing and honoring individuals for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the sport of boxing and their community. At the inaugural event, the late Vernon “The Viper” Forrest was honored and remembered. Some of Evander’s Olympic teammates, friends and family will be invited to participate in this special tribute.
