Unbeaten middleweight power-puncher Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez (24-0, 19 KOs) scored a ten round unanimous decision over Marcus Upshaw (14-8-2, 6 KOs) on Saturday night at El Teatro del Pueblo in Puebla, Mexico. Ramirez dropped Floridian Upshaw in round five and won by scores of 98-92, 99-90, 99-90.
Also undefeated super middleweight Marco Antonio Periban (19-0, 12 KOs) took a ten round majority decision over Francisco Sierra (25-7-1, 22 KOs).
