Las Vegas — In the main event at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino former WBO Super Bantamweight champion Daniel Ponce De Leon outgunned and outclassed Eduardo “Chucky” Lazcano and claim the vacant WBC USNBC Super Featherweight title. Ponce De Leon (43-4, 35 KOs) continued his winning ways since being handed consecutive losses to Yuriorkis Gamboa and Adrien Broner in 2011 with a strong exhibition of his boxing skills as Lazcano had no answers for De Leon’s left hand and combinations and the result was a 100-90 shutout on the scorecards.
