It was like watching a lion play with the prey before the big kill – except the kill never happened. Frankie Gomez (15-0, 11 KOs) soundly out boxed Houston’s Lanard Lane (13-3, 8 KOs) en route to a one sided unanimous decision win in the welterweight main event.
The bout was fought in spurts, dictated by Gomez. Lane was hit with two and three punch combinations nearly every time he was close enough to land a blow of his own. This was the course of action for the ten round affair . . . Click here for more
