Results from Angono, Rizal, Philippines

It was a domination of Singwangcha fighters last Saturday night as they swept every bout by decision and knockout victories. In the main event, Jomar Fajardo-Singwangcha gave Ruther del Castillo a boxing clinic but the fight ended earlier due to huge cut on Del Castillo’s right eyebrow. The fight was halted in the ninth round and the score cards awarded the victory to Fajardo via unanimous decision.

In the supporting main event, Rey Megrino-Singwangcha scored an early knockout courtesy of a liver shot which sent opponent Prell Tupas to the canvass for good in the very first round. In another featured bout, lightweight prospect Al Sabaupan came back from his recent loss against Marvin Quintero in Mexico by stopping Freddie Martinez in the first round. Sabaupan was relentless from the opening belland finally caught Martinez with a perfect hook to the body knocking out his opponent seconds from the end of the round.

In the undercard action, Rey Loreto-Sinwangcha scored a first round knockout over Roy Albaera. A perfect timed body shot send Albaera to the canvas disabing him to beat the referee’s count. Bryan Vicera-Singwancha also scored a quick knockout victory by crushing Junjie Lauza with a quick right cross the chin. The referee did not bother to count upon seeing the damage inflicted on Lauza.

Still in supporting matches, Marvin de la Cruz scored a majority draw versus John Rey Lauza. Ian Ligutan-Sinwangcha got away with a majority decision win versus Nelson Zabala. Ranel del Castillo won by majority decision against Leonardo Talisic. Amateur veteran Lloyd Jardeliza proves his potential as a professional boxer by winning his debut fight via fourth round technical knock out. Jardeliza boxed around to gain points in the first three rounds and caught opponent Jupiter Benig with a jab straight combination which prompted the referee to stop the fight. Mark Penamante scored a unanimous decision win over Vanish Rivas and Ren-ren Pasignahin-Singwangcha decisioned Jess Ganayan in the curtain raiser match of the evening.

Present during the event were International Promoter Naris Singwangcha, Promoter and Manager Aljoe Jaro, WBC and Ring Magazine Flyweight Champion Sonny Boy Jaro-Singwangcha and WBC Silver Strawweight Champion Denver Cuello-Singwangcha.

Part of the boxing event was the formal awarding of the Ring Magazine Belt to Sonny Boy Jaro-Singwangcha and the formal announcement of the co-management agreement between Aljoe Jaro and Naris Singwangcha over the careers of Sonny Boy Jaro and Denver Cuello.
