USBA cruiserweight titleholder Garrett Wilson (11-5-1, 5 KOs) scored a spectacular come from behind KO over Chuck Mussachio (17-2-2, 5 KOs) on Saturday night at Ballys in Atlantic City. Entering the last round, Mussachio was up by scores of 107-102 and 105-104 on two cards, while Wilson was ahead 105-104 on the third card. Wilson, however, took it out of the hands of the judges with a huge overhand right that laid out Mussachio at the :54 mark.

Welterweight Ronald Cruz (15-0, 12 KOs) scored a fifth round TKO over Anges Adjaho (25-7, 14 KOs). The big-punching Cruz dropped Adjaho twice in the fifth and the bout was waved off during his follow up barrage. Time was 2:54.

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
