Unbeaten 2008 U.S. Olympian middleweight Sadam “World Kid” Ali (16-0, 10 KOs) was impressive in scoring a second round KO over late sub Ronnie “The Natural” Warrior, Jr. (13-8-1, 4 KOs) on Saturday night at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn, NY. Ali, who also promoted the event, put Warrior in the deck in round two with a barrage of punches and then put him down for the count with a right hand. Time was 2:59.
In the co-feature, WBC #10/WBA #8 cruiserweight Santander “The Demolition Man” Silgado (22-0, 18 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over late sub Joell Godfrey (15-9-1, 6 KOs). Scores were 80-72, 79-73, 78-74. The fight was a rematch of Silgado’s eight round unanimous decision over Godfrey in August.
Unbeaten cruiserweight and Olympian Ramadan “Holy Man” Yasser (8-0, 5 KOs) won an entertaining six round unanimous decision over Tim Johnson (4-1, 2 KOs). Yasser dropped Johnson with a right hands in rounds one and five en route to a 59-53, 59-54, 58-54 verdict.
In his pro debut, cruiserweight Michael Costantino, who was born without a right hand, battered Nathan Ortiz (0-3) with a series of left hooks and Ortiz quit at 1:16 on round two.
Unbeaten jr middleweight Steven Gamache (4-0, 1 KO) scored a four round unanimous decision over Jose Angel Ortiz (4-11-1, 1 KO) by scores of 40-36 on all cards. Gamache is the son of former two-division world champion Joey Gamache.
