Kika beats Bopp, Cazares and Ruiz triumph

WBC silver light flyweight champion Jessica “Kika” Chavez (18-3-2, 4 KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten WBA/WBO female light flyweight champion Yesica “Tuti” Bopp (24-1, 11 KOs) on Saturday night at the Estadio Morelos in Ecatepec, Mexico. Scores were 97-93, 97-93, 96-95. Bopp’s titles were not at stake.

Former two-division world champion Hugo Cazares (40-7-2, 27 KOs) scored a first round annihilation of Gabriel Altarejos (12-2-1, 4 KOs) in a super bantamweight clash.

Former WBA interim bantamweight champion Hugo “Cuatito” Ruiz (32-2, 28 KOs) demolished Giovanni “Ruso” Caro (24-13-4, 19 KOs) in two rounds.
