Super bantamweight Chris Avalos (21-2, 16 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over Jose Luis Araiza (32-8-1, 23 KOs) on Saturday night at the C. Robert Lee Activities Center in Hawaiian Gardens, California. An unintentional head clash in round four left Araiza with a cut over his left eye and Araiza didn’t want to continue. Time was 1:42.
Unbeaten light heavyweight Trevor McCumby (10-0, 8 KOs) punished Ricardo Campillo (7-6-1, 5 KOs) over six rounds to earn a 60-53, 60-54, 60-54 win.
