Mikey Garcia returns with KO win

WBO mandatory featherweight challenger Miguel Angel “Mikey” Garcia (29-0, 21 KOs) scored a second round KO over former world champion Mauricio Pastrana (35-17-2, 23 KOs) on Saturday night as the TKT Box Tour hit Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. A right hand finished Pastrana at the 1:05 mark.

In the main event, super middleweight Rogelio “Porky” Medina (29-2, 23 KOs) was down in rounds one and two, but got the win when Luis David “Animal” Serrano (16-2, 13 KOs) couldn’t continue in round six. Medina wins the WBC silver belt.

Unbeaten featherweight Adrian “Chinito” Young (17-0-1, 15 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Raul Hirales (16-1, 8 KOs). Scores were 77-74, 78-73, 77-75. Hirales was down once, but it was a competitive fight.
