In a super middleweight main event, Germany-based Italian Daniel Knieps (29-1-1, 14 KOs) drew with unbeaten Tiran Mkrtschjan (5-0-3, 3 KOs) of Germany over 12 rounds on Saturday night at the Prembroke Arena in the city of Prembroke on the Mediterranean island of Malta.
In the co-feature, popular Malta resident Scott Dixon (34-10-4, 9 KOs) originally from Hamilton, Scotland decisioned Baker Barakat (36-13-4, 24 KOs) of Germany over 12 rounds. Dixon dropped Barakat in the 12 and final round to punctuate his victory which was for the WBU super middleweight title.
