A clash for the vacant WBA interim super bantamweight belt ended in a technical draw when unbeaten Scott Quigg (24-0, 17 KOs) and former world title challenger Rendall Munroe (24-2, 10 KOs) clashed heads in round three. Munroe was cut over the right eye forcing the stoppage at the :43 mark. The bout took place Saturday night at the Velodrome in Manchester, England.

Unbeaten junior middleweight Sergey Rabchenko (21-0, 16 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO over former world title challenger Ryan Rhodes (46-6, 31 KOs) to claim the vacant EBU European title. A body shot finished Rhodes at 2:54.

6’8 heavyweight Richard Towers (14-0, 10 KOs) scored a ninth round TKO over Gregory Tony (17-3, 14 KOs) to claim the vacant EBU-EU belt. Towers dropped Tony in round two, round seven, three times in round eight. Tony finally stopped fighting in round nine citing an arm injury and the bout was halted. Tony had his chance in round five when he battered Towers from pillar to post and Towers was very lucky to get out of the round.

Former middleweight title challenger Martin Murray (24-0-1, 10 KOs) topped Karim Achour (13-3-2, 2 KOs) by a 98-93 score over ten.
