WBC Youth super bantamweight Rey Vargas (20-0, 17 KOs) scored a second round KO over Daniel Ferreras (13-9-2, 4 KOs) to retain the title on Saturday night at the Convention Center Surman in Villa de Las Flores, México State.

In an interesting female fight, lightweight Jessica “Kika” Chávez (21-3-3, 4 KOs) retained her silver belt against Melisa McMorrow (9-5-3, 1 KO) over ten competitive rounds. Scores were 97-94, 97-93 and 96-94.
