Female minimumweight Mary Salinas (9-1-1, 2 KOs) was declared new WBC Youth champion by defeating compatriot Tania Cosme (2-2-1, 0 KOs), who did not answer the bell beginning the fifth round on Saturday night at the Deportivo Trabajadores del Metro in Mexico City.

In the co-feature, super featherweight Gamaliel Diaz (33-9-2, 16 KOs) scored a ten round unanimous decision over Abraham Gomez (13-18-5, 3 KOs) by scores of 97-93, 99-90 and 98-91.
