Lecona defeats Bernache

In an upset, super bantamweight Jonathan Zurdo” Lecona (15-11-2, 5 KOs) took a ten round unanimous decision over highly regarded Enrique “Duende” Bernache (21-5, 11 KOs) on Saturday night at the Auditorio de Trabajadores del Metro in Mexico City. Lcona came on strong over the second half of the fight to pull away to a 96-95, 97-93, 98-92 win.

WBO #12 Daniel “Galeno” Sandoval (31-2, 30 KOs) scored a second round TKO over outgunned Martin Avila (14-11, 8 KOs). Sandoval dropped Avila once in round one and twice in round two. Time was 1:34.

Welterweight Ramses Agaton (11-1-1, 7 KOs) scored a first round TKO over Laonardo Ventura (4-1-1, 4 KOs).
