Rodriguez batters Tahdooahnippah

Former jr middleweight and welterweight title challenger Delvin Rodriguez (27-6-3, 15 KOs) dominated previously undefeated jr middleweight George “Comanche Boy” Tahdooahnippah (31-1-1, 23 KOs) getting a TKO in round six on Friday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Rodriguez, who has been in with a higher level of competition, nearly had Tahdooahnippah out of there in round two and continued to punish him as the bout progressed. Referee Eddie Cotton had finally seen enough and waved it off as the game Tahdooahnippah took more heavy shots in the sixth. Time was 2:41.

Lightweight Chris “Hurricane” Howard (15-2-1, 7 KOs) scored a spectacular one-punch third round KO over “The Mongolian Mongoose” Bayan Jargal (17-4-3, 10 KOs). A clean right flush on the jaw dropped Jargal who was deemed unable to continue. Time was 1:46.
