Undefeated Prize Fight lightweight Mark Davis (11-0, 4 KOs) outpointed tough, but frustrating opponent Adauto Gonzalez (10-6) over eight rounds by unanimous decision on Saturday night at Fitzgerald’s Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi. Scores were 79-73, 79-73, 80-72.

Also lightweight Tyrese Hendrix (16-0-1, 6 KOs) outclassed veteran Phillip “Bring The” Payne (16-22-1, 8 KOs) over eight rounds and won by unanimous decision, 80-72 on all cards. It was Payne’s first bout since 2006. He has now dropped eight straight.
