For only $30 boxing fans can enjoy more than 40 rounds of exciting professional boxing at Bob Duffy’s Saturday afternoon, July 18 outdoor event at the Plattdeutsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square, NY. Long Island, NY fan-favorite Tommy Rainone (12-3, 4 KO’s) will headline the card in a six round contest against Shakha Moore, a 27-bout veteran who has fought top contenders such as Demetrius Hopkins and Israel “Pito” Cardona. The July 18 co-feature pits punishing undefeated heavyweight prospect Tor Hamer (6-0, 5 KO’s) in a six round bout against Marcus Dickerson (4-1-1, 2 KO’s). Hamer, a Penn State graduate, has been featured in the Village Voice and in The Ring magazine. Dublin, Ireland native Steve Ormond is undefeated as a pro and is a former Irish National Champion. In his last bout on June 5, 2009, Ormond captured a unanimous decision over Sergi Ganjelashvili (W 6). Suarez is a former Puerto Rican Amateur Champion. .

In what may prove to be the “Fight of the Night”, undefeated middleweight Marcus “Italian Stallion” Bianconi challenges hard-punching Juan Zapata in a four round brawl. Bianconi has stopped all four of his opponents. Zapata blasted undefeated prospect Mike O’ Connor in the first round in his last bout.
Chris Algieri (7-0, 4 KO’s) vs. Jose Guzman (5-4-1)
6-Rounds – LIghtweights
Huntington, NY native Chris Algieri has stopped three opponents within the first three rounds. Bayamon, Puerto Rico native Jose Guzman has won his last two fights. In his last bout on June 6, 2009, Guzman upset undefeated prospect Eliud Torres.
Issouf Kinda (3-0, 1 KO) vs. Fernando Basora (8-4-1, 7 KO’s)

Undefeated Burkina Faso native Issouf Kinda is a slick boxer who is a former All-African Champion. Basora is a bomber who has stopped four opponents in the first round.

Queens, NY light heavyweight Hart will attempt to rebound from a disputed majority decision loss in his pro debut. A steamfitter by day, Hart competed in 25 amateur bouts before turning pro.
Jasques Louis (1-0) vs. K.C. Cunningham (0-1)
4 Rounds – Heavyweights
Brentwood, NY bruiser Jasques Louis (254 lbs) won his pro debut on April 28, 2009, when he decisioned Vernon Jenkins.
The nine-bout fight card at Plattdeutsche will be held outdoors and will seat up to 4,000 guests. Barbecued food and cigars will be available for purchase, and following the main event a live band will perform. This will be Duffy’s fifth fight card at Plattdeutsche. His last event, May 8, 2009, sold out Plattdeutsche’s indoor venue.
