Rios vows to end Pacman’s career

By Dennis Principe

Filipino boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao has had much success against a good number of Mexican fighters in his entire career. However two of Pacquiao’s four losses were dealt by great Mexican fighters Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez. Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios meanwhile said he is aiming for a win that will make him a Mexican boxer who will be best remembered for inflicting the most debilitating defeat on Pacquiao. On Thursday here in Macau, Fightnews was able to get a one-on-one chat with Rios who is in town for their press tour’s kick off leg this Saturday. Rios and Pacquiao will square off in a 12-round match on November 24 at the Venetian Hotel here in Macau. Find out what Rios said about Pacquiao and their upcoming battle.

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
