WBC #10/WBA #5 lightweight contender “Bam Bam” Brandon Rios (24-0-1, 18 KOs) of Oxnard, CA, trained by former junior lightweight champion, Robert Garcia, will take on Urbano Antillon (27-1, 20 KOs) of Maywood, CA on Saturday, May 8th on the undercard of Latin Fury 14, which features the return of Antonio Margarito in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The twenty-three year-old Rios will defend his NABF lightweight title for the first time in a 10-round bout and vowed to knockout Antillon.

“I’m going in there to knock him out,” said Rios. “Antillon is standing in my way for bigger and better things and I’ve worked too hard and too long to let him steal my dreams of becoming a world champion. I’ve dedicated my entire life to boxing and I’m going in there with the intentions of knocking him out.”
Latin Fury 14 will be shown live on pay-per-view and is being promoted by Top Rank in association with Zanfer Promotions and Tecate.
