Rivera-Gonzalez collide Dec 4

All Star Boxing, Inc “The New Generation”, Tuto Zabala, Jr and Boxeo Telemundo will close its 2009 season on December 4 at the Miccosukee Resort and Gaming in Miami. In the main event, veteran Cosme “Chino” Rivera of Culiacan, Mexico will make his 5th Miccosukee and Telemundo appearance when he faces hot prospect Euri “Million” Gonzalez of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in a bout scheduled for 12 Rounds with the WBO Latin Welterweight vacant title at stake.

Rivera who has a record of 31-13-2, 22 KOs, has a record of 4-1 in the ring at Miccosukee having only lost a controversial split decision to local prospect Joel Julio. Gonzalez in the other hand is one of the best prospects out of the Dominican Republic having lost only to superstar Saul “Canelo” Alvarez with a record of 19-1-1, 14 KOs.

Also on the card Yoelvis Gamboa (1-0) younger brother of WBA featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa, undefeated Cuban prospect Christopher De La Paz and Homestead’s own Jose Torres (1-0) .
